I need a second opinion on this:
Married to a USC, filed 485 for GC. 8 months into the process, the wife becomes a drug addict( running with the wrong crowd). She was arrested for stealing a car with a friend..go figure. Fast forward to tday..divorce filed and granted. Got married traditionally back home to a USC ( she's orginally from the same country).
Question is..
1. Do I abandon the previous 485. How long is it before the application is considered abandoned.
2. Can I withdraw the application an file for a new GC based on the current marriage?. DOes this raise any red flags?. I can prove the reasons why the first marriage failed...
Any opinions?
