A7 going back to COP

I'm sorry for bringing up this topic again. But what is the consensus on GC holder & derivative asylum (A7) on going back to CoP or renewing the NP passport?

I'm not planning on going back to my CoP, but I'm thinking about renewing my NP just incase I have an emergency and have to go back to my CoP. Perhaps use it to go to a country that don't accept RP.

I got my asylum through my wife, but we came from the same country.

How reliable is this article?

Thanks a bunch.

It says asylees and not permanent residents in the article. No where it says that asylees who are a permanent residents now or maybe I am missing something??

You should be ok. If you read carefully it says " who hold dependent asylee status"...Your status is Permanent Resident.
