To All Immigration Gurus...,

I married after GC and Its been 3 years 4 months since my green card.

I've applied for my wife's I-130 and the best hope I have is to become a citizen and bring her to US.

I work for a global company which can place me on a project in England and I can make a trip to US every 3 months or so for a week.

What possible steps I can take to not to jeopardize my Citizenship requirements.

1: Is there a waiver that INS gives for people on GC who work for global companies to work outside US?...with out jeopardizing their Continuous residency requirement.

1: Do I need to get a permission from INS before I commence work in England?. Like a Reentry Permit?.

2: Can I work for an year outside US with a trip to US every 3 months for a week.

3: Is it a good idea to keep an apartment in US?, Can I discontinue my car insurance?.

I greatly appreciate and welcome all your comments.

Thanks,
Rama.

PS:I still would be paid here in US in US $ (Direct deposted to the bank) and I intend to file my taxes.

1. that waiver is called n470. you need to qualify for it
reentry is if u will be outside US for 1 year or more. no work permit from us is needed
2. yes. come often and dont do this for more than a year at most!!
3. those are up 2 u!. u need insurance for a parked car also. maybe u can increase your deductable
