A theory...
Based on the movements that we are seeing in FP I have a theory:
Lets say,
Category 1: Oct 99(1 month RDs)
Category 2: Nov 99 - Mar 00(5 month RDs when PD was current)
Category 3: April 00 - Sep 00(RDs when PD retrogressed)
1. We saw FP for Categ-1 cases from mid-Jan 2001 to Feb 2001(1 1/2 months).
2. We are seeing FP for Categ-2 cases from mid Feb 2001. Let\'s assume it carries on till the end of March 01(1 1/2 months)
3. FP for Categ-1 and Categ-2 will be done between March 2001 through mid-May 2001(2 1/2 months for Categ-1 and Categ-2 to get their FP notices)
4. In April 2001, Categ-1 will start receiving approvals.
5. In May 2001, Categ-2 will start receiving approvals.
6. Let\'s say approvals for Categ-1 and Categ-2 will be done by end of June 2001. (leaving pending RFE\'s)
7. Categ-3(retrogressed PD, still less number of cases than Categ-2) which have already done their FP\'s earlier will see their approvals in July-Aug 2001(leaving pending RFE\'s).
Of course, these are just estimates, and we will see a faster time if INS continues its pace, or slower times when INS revisits older cases in Aug-Dec 99, with PD current. Just my thoughts... Any comments??
