"A supervisor will review for pass processing"?

Friends,

I have a pending I-140 NIW (RD = July 31, 2007) filed concurrently with two I-485 applications (me and spouse). The last LUD online was a soft LUD on 10/27/2007 and that’s it.

Since my I-140 RD is past processing dates (currently Dec. 15. 2007), I’ve called USCIS Cust. Serv. Cntr. and placed an SR end of February. A week ago, I received a letter from CIS stating the following:

“We are actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 6 months of this letter, please call customer service at the number provided below. A supervisor will review for pass processing.”

What do I expect after that? Does anyone has (or knows of) similar experience?

I have searched the net and it seems that the first part of the message is typical when there is an FBI name check. However, the last sentence regarding the “supervisor” and “pass processing” is vague to me?

Thanks for you responses,

S
