Friends,

I got my PERM approved in Jan 2007. But did not apply I-140. Recently I applied I-140 and I-485 concurrently (for my wife as well) , i.e before the Aug 17th deadline.

My I-94 will expire on Feb 16th 2008. I want to know few things.

1. Is there any restriction for travelling (outside US) at this stage ?

2. Any idea on the time frame for receiving EAD (for me and my wife) and
Advace parole document.

3. If there is no restriction in travelling outside US, Do I have to go to consulate for stamping again (or Is Advance Parol a substitute for that).

Pls help me.

Thanks
Peter

it would be better for you if yu take extenssion for your H1. other hand you should not travel untill gets travling document.

But do we have an idea of the time frame for receiving EAD and Advance Parole documents ?
I also filed concurrently on Aug-03. I did n't apply for EAD and AP but my attorney said it is taking 3 to 4 months to get EAD approved. But in any case as someone else suggested, you could apply for H1B Extension if have to travel quickly. I did my H1b extension with Premium, it was approved in 14 days.
