I need help as well. I went to the local USCIS office last week and asked for help to expedite my RTD. An officer wrote an e-mail to the Nebraska office and asked to expedite since I have a family gathering to attend in Europe and I already have a ticket. I showed my non-refundable ticket and my student id (I'm a full-time student) when I was trying to explain that I cannot afford to lose this ticket. So, today i received an email asking to send an evidence after I receive a letter from the USCIS in the mail. It usually take a week to get correspondence from the USCIS and I don't have time since I have to travel soon. What can possibly they ask for as an evidence? a copy of my airline ticket? I've showed everything at the local office. How can I find out before receiving the request? Should I just mail a copy if it to them before getting the actual request?
Also, is there a fax I can send my evidence to instead of mailing it? Is this number 1-402-219-6171 still good? Any ideas? Thanks
