a rather silly question about stamping and approval

My case has been filed by my lawyer. will he get the approval letter for my 485, or will I. If he does, will I only get a courtesy copy?

As far as stamping is concerned, I am presuming I can take that courtesy copy (if that's what i get). But the posts here seem to indicate we can choose when to go get stamped. isn't there an 'appointment' time on the approval for when you need to get the passport stamped?

I dont know about other states but if u r in NJ u can go to local office and get stamped on any wednesdays

No there is no particular apointment time ( at least not on the one I got) - You can choose when to go - Earlier is better for obvious reasons.

you can go on any wednesday between 8 am and 12 noon and get it stamped if if you have just teh courtesy copy.
