Do they update Points after you file it?

Hello fellas, i have a quick question.

I am planning to apply for Canadian skill worker immigration and currently have 65 points. However, i will graduate my MS program in about 8 months from now. and then i will have 5 extra points that will be more than 67 needed. My question is that, can i add my MS degree certificate later like any other police report , medical report paper works? Or i have to ahve 67 points right now when i apply?

it takes about 2 yrs minimum to make them a decision i heard, so any updated information in that period will effect the points?

Yes you can do that, I have done it when I got married and hence the points had to be updated. I did that after my application was filed. As long as they see if before the officer finishes grading the file you should be fine.
