will a arresst influence a effection on a green card application or become a us citizenship?
i was arrested because of under charged of simple assault (like to push somebody.) ,my case was dismissed by judge because without witness later.i herein to question will a arresting not conviction will affect a green card or citizenship application ?
my criminal lawyer told me there's expungement available for arresst record .so after if i do so will have applied expungement how do i to answer a such kind of question like"have u been arrested or convicted anywhere in us"from immigration official form .should i negate it or still give positive answer and file with deposition certificate to immigration office.

You should answer Yes for arrested question and bring court disposition letter at the time of interview. Even after expungment, you are supposed to answer Yes to that question.

How long ago was the arrest? I am not a lawyer but if it was dismissed and you didn't get into trouble since, then you should be fine based on the cases of the members on this board.
