Hello Gurus,
I have a very important question.
My employer had filed for my Labor Certification under non-RIR category for Employment Based Immigrant Visa. Later on he agreed to transfer my case from non-RIR to RIR. Yesterday he faxed me the letter from the Labor Deptt stating that my case has been transferred to RIR and received by them. The fax letter contains only a case# and no receipt no has been mentioned in the letter. IS there any way I can find out the details of my case - like what is my priority date, is it under RIR Category etc. using this case#. I have been trying to get the receipt# from my employer but in vain. Any help will be gr8ly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Re: Re: A Question

O.K you got the case number right ??
then it must be from DOL i belive..
So do one thing ..Call DOL (there must be a number to call DOL and get status .
so call that number and find your case details by your case number or yoru employee telephone number

Re: Re: Re: Re: A Question

Thanks for the information, I really appreciate it and I got my answer from the number which was written on the letter. These BASTARDS(My employer) had withdrawn my case which was filed a year back for non RIR and then filed a new one recently for RIR. My
employer was telling me all this time that they had filed my case in Non RIR first and then they gonna transfer it to RIR and the PD will remain same as that of NON RIR. Now since they have totally withdrawn my previous filed case I am in THICK SHIT.
They promsied me that they will file for my labout 2 years back when I joined this compnay and see its been 2 years now and now they have filed. They have been telling lies to me all this time, hiding information and not telling anything about my labour status.

Can I sue them? Please help...!!(all the attorneys who are reading) I feel like cheated and am so in Dire Straits...!!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: A Question

He (Employer totaly ditched you )
One straight thing i can say ..
Leave the company and start a GC processing from where labour is very faster ..
There are companys who ready to process your GC if you immediately transfer your contract to their company.. rely on them .. they sure help you .. Its been two years !! My God.. Its very bad ..
Common call up your employer and tell him you are leaving .. then lets see ..
