A question regarding to spouse's case.

Her case number is WAC02-081-xxxxx. Any idea when this case will be touched? 
Why did your lawyer sent your wife's case to CSC and when I mean at what stage? Did her case was filed after your 485 ?
If it is a mistake then you need to call CSC and ask them status, but as per WAC# it may take another 4-6 months if it has to be approved by CSC.
Where will you send your approval letter, did anybody ask for it at CSC I guess "NO" so I think no body will entertain it.
What is your current address is it VT or CA ?

My wife lives in CA. This is why my lawyer sent her case to CSC. Several people told me that my lawyer should have sent her case together with mine to VSC, but my lawyer did that anyway. I just wonder whether I should forward my approval notice to CSC so that they could realize that the primary case has been approved. Maybe this is not necessary since they will find it out when they adjudicate my wife's case.

I don't think you need to send anything. They will find out that your application is primary application and that's already approved. You don't need to worry about it. However as you both live in different places, they may ask for a RFE or call for interview to make sure the merriage is proper.
Sending your approval may not help and chances are there that your wife case will get transfer to VSC since primary applicant's file is in VSC. Strange things happen in CSC, this is just a possibility since CSC may not know any thing about your case so they will send your wife's case to VSC or they will send an RFE to get more documents.But that is not going to happen soon, wait for atleast 4 months.
