A question about I-94...RD Oct \'00 & ND Nov\'00

My question is:
If my I-485 gets approved after my I-94 expires & I go to get my passport stamped,will it cause any problems...because my I-94 has already expired?
Please share your information.
My details:
My I-94 & my H1 visa, both expire in Dec 2001.
Currently both my H1 & EAD are valid.
I had applied for I-485 way back in Oct 2000.
I don\'t want to apply for an Advance Parole, as I do not intend to travel
outside the USA, till my I-485 gets approved.
 
my advice: go for EAD/AP

- If your H1 expires, you are not allowed to work...(and you dont have EAD)
- Based on your H1, your I-94 specify that you have been admited until specific date

If you break any of this rules... maybe you will have a bad time.

I\'m in similar situation. But I already applied for my extensions (last week)
