A question about GC based I-130 and USC I-130

Hi to everyone. I found this forum while looking for answers and decided to ask you this since you look like a great bunch of people :D with problems similar to mine.

I got married before I entered US and after I was aproved for a refugee based visa. I filled I-730 for my wife here but it was denied because I derivated my status from my parents and as such I wasn't allowed to sponsor anyone.

I was told I could send I-130 once I become a GC holder so I did it. I was aware of the fact that it would take few years before I can bring her and that nothing would happen until I become a citizen.
The I-130 was aproved in may 2005 and nothing has happened ever since.
I sent N-400 to NSC and I am scheduled for an interview and citizenship test in July 2006.
I called USCIS and asked them what to do after I become a USC and they told me I should call the visa center and let them know I am a USC now.
I heard that US embassy in Sarajevo (we are from Bosnia and she is still there) allows to go there and directly apply and some people already have done it and finished it in couple of months.

My question is: Should we go there and do it the same way and what about the I-130 I already sent to NSC and should I even mention that I did it and that it was aproved?

Yes I read about the visa number and like you probably did, I read everything I could on USCIS and other websites and asked around about my case.
I called the USCIS and asked what to do after I become the citizen. The lady gave me the phone number of DOS (I beleive) and told me to ask them because they take care of visa #s. So the lady that works there said the only thing I should do is to send them the copy of certificate of citizenship and a letter explaining my case and telling them that I am no longer a PR but a USC so they can speed up the process and do the next step...I am not sure if your I-130 is already approved but if yes you should have received a another number which you can use to track your visa number once it becomes avaliable (in 15 years or so lol).
The only thing is that I never received an approval notice. I found out about the approval on INS website. The lady also said I don't really need the notice as they already have it in system and it would take months before I could get a duplicate...oh well...

Yes I know how hard it is beleive me. We tried several times to get her here for a visit but they wouldnt give her a tourist visa because Bosnia is still poor and they won't let young people come to US who have no strong ties to the country... I guess they are afraid she would stay here ilegally.
I visit her every year and stay for 2-3 months but that goes very fast by.
A year seems like a very long time for you but if you really want to make it happen I am sure you'll go through it they way you handled past years. :)
I tried to keep myself busy, work long hours and not think about the time that still has to pass.
Another thing that's helpfull with long hours is that this way I can save some money before she gets here and once she does we could enjoy our time together :D

Well let's see...They received my application at March 06 2006, notice date is March 10th,
They sent me a notice for fingerprinting at March 15 with an app. for March 29th but I went there few days earlier and asked them if I could do it that day so I don't have to skip work and they were nice enough to do it :)

On April 03 2006 they sent me a notice to appear for an interview at June 22 2006. On April 27 I received a letter saying that my interview was canceled "due to unforseen circumstances" :confused:
In another envelope same day a got another appoitment for June 29 2006 :D
