a question about FP and name check

When your FP result is sent back to INS from FBI, does it mean that your name check is done? What does FBI do with FP?
Any answer is greatly appreciated. I think this is a FAQ for GC applicant.
 
I am not sure but would like to know the answer as well. i am waiting for message update on my case. check my signature for details...
