A question about 485 fee submission

I am about to submit the 485 package for me and my wife. From the USCIS website, I learned there are 6 fees to be submitted: 485, EAD, and fingerprint (x2 for me and my wife). However, could anyone please tell me whether I should submit the fee with:

1) A single check with the total amount for both of us? or
2) Two checks for me and my wife separately? or
3) I need SIX checks for each fee?

Thanks a lot for the help!
 
If you write one check for all 6 applications and for some reason the amount was wrong, all 6 applications will be rejected. It's better to send 6 checks. At least that's what my lawyer told me.
