I need to clarify one news that i got from my friend. But first let me give you some background.
I applied my I-140 and I-485 concurrently on March 07, 2005. as i am from pakistan and it is not retrogessed affected country, I recieved my I-140 approval prettry quickely in June 2005. Now waiting for my I-485 approval. The issue is that my friend has told me that INS has runout of visa numbers and they will not have it before october and according to him i am also affected with this situation.
I just want to know that as i have already filed my I-485 in June 2005, does the end of visa numbers affects my situation and stop my I-485 process for a while?
