A permanent resident can file petion for wife/husband

Guys thanks for looking in to this.

I just grabbed this info and wanted to verify it with you.

I am wondering .Did you guys think that a lawful permanent resident was able to file or sponsor wife/husband as is stated on the above link ?

You have this link from the USCIS website... usually the verification goes in the other direction ;-)
But yes, a permanent resident can file a petition for the wife or husband, but if you look at the current visa bulletin, you see that they are now looking at the petitions from 2004, so it takes a looong time.
