Approved!!! A few minutes ago, I received my 'Card Production Ordered' email (I-485 approval) which concludes my GC journey. Surreal but true. Spouse case (derivative) is yet to be approved.

I would like to thank this forum (Mr.Rajiv Khanna/Moderators/Contributors/Colorful characters) from where I have gathered/enriched my knowledge of U.S.immigration laws/USCIS inner workings and benefited from the various postings. Also, a shout out to immigrationvoice.org, Mathew Oh (immigration-law.com) and murthy.com.

For the rest of I-485 waiters and old timers, hang in there. My wishes for your speedy approval!

BTW, two TSC IOs claimed that my name check is stuck with FBI. Also, I received a SR response from TSC on 08/13 that my case is under 'additonal review'. My approval should brighten up people in similar situation.

Can you tell us if you had infopass anytime and what was the response for your name check question?

I have never taken an infopass appointment. Only the TSC IOs were claiming that my 'namecheck' is stuck. However, my Congressman's office was telling me that everything is clear in my case and I should hear something in 45 days.
