A# on I-140 approval notice

My I-140 was approved for CP. On the approval notice just above the beneficiary name there is a eight digit number AXX XXX XXX. Is it my alien registration number?

Gurus please reply ASAP. Thanks in advance.

Alien # is usually of 9 digits. I dont know if they have changed now to 8.

But why do you need to worry what it is?

You 140 has been approved.

Thank you for your reply. My I-140 was approved for CP. But I filed I-485 beacuse of EB3 priority date problem. On my I-485 application I entered
'none' under A#. I saw this 'A' number on my approved I-140 after sending my 485 papers to CIS.
