A number

Hi,

I need a small help. I am about to file N400. In it, it asks for my wife\'s status. She is on a valid B-2 and plans to leave country before I-94 expiration date. I plan to write down her status as B-2 with a note saying she is leaving country.

1) But does she have a "A" number? She has I-94 number. Is that A number?
2) She plans to come back and forth to stay with me on valid B-2 till my citizenship. Does she have a problem on re-entry? We need to spend a big fortune just to make B-2 valid. Is there other ways?

Thanks.

No Problem

A number is alien number or green card number. So your wife does not have one, if she is still on B-2.

Regarding your wife\'s status she is still a legal resident of India[or where ever], even though she is "visiting" you frequently.

Regards if there is going to be a problem on her re-visit hard to say, up to the INS officer, but I do not think it should be a problem.

I hope for both your sake, that you live in Vermont Service area, so that you can process your N-400 in
