A#/I-94#/Nonimmigration visa # ??

Could someone please explain where do I get the A# from? I am on H1B visa. I know there's a number on the I-94 card and another on the I-797 (H1-B approval). Could someone plz explain?

Also any clue where do I get te Nonimmigration visa# (for I-795 application) from?

H1b is non-immigrant visa - it has no A#. You need to file immigrant visa to get A#. For all practical purpose, if you do not have A#, you can use I-94 number(mark I-94 number in brackets).
