The future of architect industry is bright and dynamic. According to payscale.com, the annual medium annual salary of a design architect was $52,822 USD in Nov, 2009.

Architecture also sounds a very interesting and creative work to do. One never gets hyper or tired doing its tasks. Neither does it articulate monotony. Adopting it as a career would also give benefit as money earned out of it is quite reasonable.

Apply a creative vision to architectural practice, Critical thinking about the relationship between spatial manipulation, culture, and technology, Ability to represent ideas with the use of visual aids such as drawings and models.
Communication ability, both oral and written,Research and design capabilities and Expertise with CAD software and other graphical software packages.
 
I am a undecided freshman UCSD considering major options. An interest I have is eco friendly archtecture and alternative building materials. In high school I designed an earth sheltered home .
