140 ??

DIGS:

According to the trend -- the line for fresh approvals for EB3 is July and Aug 2004..... and April 2004 for EB2...

This trend suggest (for EB3) : -
Applications from June to Aug is with front line adjucators.
And Jan to May 2004 applications are gone to second layer of adjucators.

The pace has picked up with the front line guys but is stil slow in the second layer.... lets see how the trend continues for rest of the week.

Analyzing NSC....

Nov 2002

Yesterday I read a post -- one guy is waiting for 140 approval since Nov 2002.
I wonder how much tensed he might be --- It looks like his application is lost in the department....

Is there a way if such thing happen -- to reapply for 140 all over again?

eBhola,

Your suggestion to Nov.2002 applicant is workable, unfortunately, the applicant is penalised for the shortcomings of NSC. You may post your suggestion in his/her thread under '140 issue' by bluemoon.

By the way, looks like the first layer adjucators have come from VSC, pushing the inefficient NSC adjucators to the second layer. Shame on NSC.

I will be happy even if the NSC atleast sends an RFT :p

NSC Working to reduce the PILE UP.

Mahesh,

No, you should not be fustrated seeing the rapid application pickups at NSC.
Well we do not know the inner working of NSC -- but we can guess using the trends...

This is what I think -- well I love debates on these.

1> The NSC has bought in a new layer of Adjucator to remove backlog. These Adjucators were fresh and so not much experienced.
They were given fresh applications -- which was not assigned to any OLD adjucators.

2> The approach they choose to remove backlog was --- reduce the pile up.
So the top layer of Adjucators went fast on all the applications -- Approved the ones which fit there guidelines (check list) -- gave off obvious RFE -- like on Education etc.. The tougher ones they left off to the experienced second layer of Adjucators.

3> I think this top layer adjucator will continue there run for fresh application pickups till say DEC 2004 or something . Then they will comeback to the old cases --- hmm all the left over from DEC 2003.

So I guess -- all the left off application from layer one adjucators -- will need little more extra time---while some of the lucky ones will see I-140 approved in less than 5 months.

Well as I said this is just an theory---and as we have seen over the years NSC changes its way of working every couple of months...

Lets all get approved in the end..

Though there is a possibility of more cases adjudicated, our cases gets closer, from speaking with an NSC officer, it all depends on the immigration officer working on a specific case.

No matter what your PD is, if an officer has 10 files, those get picked up randomly and this is the reason why people filed before/after a specific case gets approved and I agree with the NSC officer I spoke with as there are many guys from 2001/2002 who are yet to get approved.

This gives some hope seeing the two cases filed in April, though one has PD 2002 and the other one is EB2
