My current job title is Operations Research Analyst and this is the ad we are preparing for newspaper ad:
Formulate mathematical or simulation models or problems, relating constants & variables; design & analyze algorithms; perform validation & testing of the models; define data requirement, gather & validate information, apply judgement & statistical tests; develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation; develop related software. Master's degree in quantitative, analytic or research focused field such as economics, statistics, public policy, or public administration coupled with bachlor's degree in CS/CIS/MIS or related field.
I have a BS in MIS, Master of Public Policy. I also have a MS in MIS which was started before I got this job, but completed after I started working.
The goal is to qualify under EB2 category. Do you think the job ad is good enough or I need to add some technical tems like Java, VB, Linux, Database etc? Also my manager does not want to interview anybody for this job. Thank you for your time.
