Hi everyone,

I'm new in this forum.
I have a question about name check(background check).

A Chinese Last Name takes longer time in Name Check in CA?
Since there are many Chinese people living in CA, is it a possible reason that the Chinese name check takes longer time in CA?

Thanks for helping me!

No one knows. The only way to tell if you will hit this is to submit your application.

Good luck

I don't think the geography of your residence is of any consequence. That said, considering that Chinese names generally have only three sylables, I assume there are greater chances of getting false hits. Names are also checked based on phonetics and prononciation for chinese names, which increases chance even more of getting stuck.

Isn't the check run on a national level? How does it make sense to limit the check to a state ?
