A Change After 2+ Yrs in FBI Name Check

This morning I was checking my e-mail and saw two e-mails from CRIS!
Anyway, the e-mails (duplicate) indicate that my I-130 has been approved and that an approval notice was sent.

I have not received anything about the I-485 though!

My timeline is as follows:

H1B married to USC: 9/04
Filed I-485 and I-130: 9/04
Interview (Houston DO): 3/05 - All good but FBI Name Check pending
Since then I've gone multiple times to the DO (Infopass), written to Senators and Congressmen and others and everyone says wait for Name Check to clear.
I-130 Approval notice: 4/07 (25 months after interview).

Does anyone know if that means I'm finally done?
What happens next?
Will I get the conditional card or the permanent one since we've been married for over two years now?

Please let me know if you have any thoughts on this and good luck to everyone waiting for their FBI Name Check to clear.

Oh one more thing and this might help those waiting:

I January my wife and I wrote a letter to First Lady Bush. We never heard back but maybe that helped - I've read in several threads that people have had good results after written to Mrs. Bush so who knows maybe that did the trick.

Congrats...

Hi dude...

Let's hope it is a 10 yrs green card. After all, you have been to hell and back, and after USCIS torture... you should be given some freedom of a 10 yrs card..

Congratulations... and be prepared to file for US citizenship as soon as you are eligible, because that too might take another 15 yrs... with imcompetent USCIS... who needs competence for anything...

I've afraid I wouldn't get too excited unless you get the email about I-485 being approved. I-130 approval means jack shit I'm afraid.

Cool...

Good Dr...

I agree... OP should wait for an approval... with an email... but more importantly, a letter in the mail... :D

I agree...victory should be his... after all hell he's being through...:D
