a Big mistake while renewing my EAD

Guys,
I made a mistake when I e filed my EAD renewal. I entered wrong last name, but when I went for photo's to be taken at local office they told me that they would correct it as I'm already in the system. But when I got reciept notice(other then which I got online). it came out with same mistake on my last name. Do I need to go to local office and inform them in advance before they issued me RFE, Or should i wait uptil RFe.
B'coz I would have to take paid with out leave from company as there would be 5 days gap between taking iEAD.
Any help is appricated.

send them a fax regarding the name correction - and hope they correct your name.... else you'll have evidence about informing BCIS about incorrect name.... or else if they intend to correct ur name - most probably u'll get a RFE....

This is why you have to like the ACS folks. You send BCIS a tonne of messages and be lucky to get a response and ACS just volunteers to do it coz 'you are in the system'.

I believe the ACS guys and gals. But fax the BCIS anyway; you may still get RFE, but thats not so bad especially if you get iEAD on the 90th day.
