970-999 days for I-485?

It would be nice if we could believe that INS\'s recorded messages are the way they are because of their sense of humor, but alas, I don\'t think they have a sense of humor - nor do they appear to realize how ridiculous their messages are!
But fortunately, INS messages are always about a year behind the times - the "999 day" message is the one that would have been close to accurate last year at this time, but now a lot of I-485s
are being approved within a few months! Hopefully, we won\'t be waiting too long on our 485 approvals!
