900 to 999 days?

What is the processing time shown on the I-485 receipt? I never received my receipt due to erroneous mail delivery by USPS. My lawyer obtained my SRC number from BCIS, but I have always wondered what the receipt said for processing time. Is it 900 + days as so many have reported from the On Line Status? Has it always been this long?

no, it was changed from 700-765 days to 990 - 999 days recently (about a month ago I think)
 
Actually, the database would have had the column length to be defined as NUMBER(3), and that is why TSC may have had it stretched to 999 days. In reality it could well be more than 1000 days :) Who knows...

Its probably a numeric field, so they can't put the sign for infinity which would reflect the waiting time more acurately.

My guess is the database can handle the numbers (after all it must have been written by one of us), but i think the ppl @ BCIS can comprehend numbers only upto 999 ...
