90 Days Calculation

How is the 90 day rule calculated for 5 yr - 90 days rule:
I became PR on Oct 6 2001. Could you pls. tell if I include Oct 6 or should I leave it out of the calculation. Specifically should I become eligible on Jul 8 or Jul 9. Also does the day BCIS takes the application should be past that date or is it the date of we signing the application.

why don't you file the naturalization application on July 20th? it sure will not give you any confusion, and you know you would not have to worry about miscalcuating for 1-2 days?

however, if being late to submit your application is a big deal to you, i guess you might want to check with a lawyer.

sounds like an easy thing could get very complicated by the questions you asked.

I have also filed mine with 90 days with additional 2 days of buffer
i.e. exculde the day of PR day and become 90th day, so you would calculate 92 days to be precise.

Why are you getting so stressed for a day plus or minus?

Just count, to be safe, 85 days before Oct. 06, 2006 and that's it.
5 more days, if everything goes right don't make a difference. And 5 days if things go wrong, won't make a difference either
