90 day allowance to apply

I became a LPR in early Jan 1999 and will complete 5 years in Jan 2004. I am planning to apply for citizenship this month using the 90 day window. I only have 1 trip out of US lasting 16 days during the last 5 years (in 2001).

As I am filling out the form I have another question.

On page 1, part 2 (“info about your eligibility”) -

do I check the box at

2.A (“I`ve been a LPR for at least 5 years”) - I am a LPR only for 4 years 9 months now at the time of application.

Or

2.D. (“Other”) and explain that I am applying <90 days before my 5 years as LPR using the 90 day window as allowed by INS law.

2.D. is for applicant like spouses of US citizens - who are eligible after 3 years of LPR.
