9/13 Interview in Chicago: Rescheduled / No Files Received

My interview was scheduled in Chicago for today, 9/13 but it was rescheduled for 12/1 as the files were not received.

Is there anyone else who had similar experience? Also, any advice on how I can get the date pre-poned to an earlier date.

I thought I knew till you asked the question - now I am not sure. The folks at the Citizenship office simply said that no files had been received for the interviews on that date. So, all the interviews on that were to be rescheduled for 12/1.
 
i am going thru a similar interview reschedualing but not sure why..i have to go to my DO and ask them.

I think in your case they are reffering to the A file which they are supposed to receive from your service center. But i do not think the A file is not required for the interview itself as I have seen cases where people had their interview even though the interviewer had told them that they wont be able to make a final decision before getting their A files.
