Got an email for both mine and my wife's cases that welcome notices are sent.
To give you my story:
Came to US in 2000 (ROW). First EB2 RIR case submitted in May 2001 in California. After 2 years of waiting got notice that case got remanded with all other CA employment cases in 2003 because of no employment shortage. Late 2003 accepted new employment and miraculously RIR got approved when I was ready to join new company. I still decided to go with new employment.
After joining new company immediately filed non-RIR EB2. After 2 years of waiting PERM surfaced and I went with it in Sep. 2005. In November 05 it was approved and in December my I-140/I-485 package went in the mail to CSC. After FP in January we received update that cases got transferred to TSC.
I got RFE on EAD - signature wasn't fitting the box. We replied and got my first EAD in April. I-140 got approved in May 2006. In August started to worry about name check - went to Infopass and surely it was the case. Waited till 1 year pass from filing date and requested FOIPA. After getting results in Feb. 2007 wrote a letter to Senators and First Lady. Got reply from Senators that they will follow up on my case. Then in April received a letter from FBI that FL forwarded my letter to them and my case is pending NC. In June got another letter from FBI stating that NC is cleared in May (reply to one of the Senators requests). At the same got a letter from lawyers that my non-RIR LC case has to be dropped - told them to drop it.
I started calling TSC and going to Infopass requesting second finger printing, after multiple weired responses and suggestions that well documented in this forum got FP notice for me and my wife for Aug. 22. We tried to come earlier and ASC refused to do early finger printing. Did FP on Aug. 22.
One week after FP called TCS to learn whether they got my results or not
- Yes, we got them and everything is clear - wait till October.
- Why?
- Visa numbers are not available.
- Bulletin says they are available for September.
- Then call us in 30 days.
And today around 1pm PST I received an e-mail that for both cases welcome notices have been sent. I really hope this is the end of the process.
