I got my 8th year externsion from DOS but on I797, they've given me 3 years of extension instead of one year. Is it going to be a problem, if I go for VISA stamping in US Consulate outside US. Am I supposed to let DOS know about the mistake, which they made or they'll give me one year stamp at US Consulate. Not sure anyone faced this problem before!
