I got the 8th year extension approved recently. But my company attorney withdrew the pending labor, saying it's better to withdraw than getting rejected.
My concerns are
1) Can i legally stay here in US, even after the labor is withdrawn...? (my 8th year extension is valid till May 2005)
2) Can i safely switch company during the 8th year extension, (another company is ready to file a labor for me, or do a labor substitution.)
3) If the other company is willing to file a labor for me and if i join them only after they get the I140 filed, do i need to transfer my H1 to the new company or can i right away join them..?
