I'm married to USC for 3 years and had my interview two weeks ago at baltimore office [believe me it didn't come that easy!]. Things went well and today I got a letter saying that I'm APPROVED!!!!

BUT. they also said to make an info pass and come in to get my passport stamped plus bring two passport size photos with form I89 [signature form for green card]. I have been doing some reading and found out on the internet that it takes them 8 to 10 months to process I89 and print you a card?????

Am I simpley not made for a GC or is it not made for me?

Advice: Never wait to hear from USCIS. ALWAYS call them, write them, pinch them [by writing to your senator] cuz a good offense is ALWAYS the best defense. This applies to any form, any case and any transaction.....

8-10 months seems just too long.
It will be probably delivered to you in the next week..or two.
If you get your passport stamped though....you have no problem.
It is a green card and it is valid for 1 year. You could freely travel and accept employment.
