7th yr extn RFE..

i have an approved h1 till oct 2003. But the visa on my passport was valid until mar 2003. I filed for my 7th year xtension and i have received a query about my visa expiry. Has anyone gone through a similar situation. Please let me know.

Also what s my best option of visa getting revalidated till current h1 term. ( oct 2003 ).

Just send the approval notice which states that ur stay is valid till oct 2003. That should be fine. They might be checking if u r still in valid status.
Also send the 140 receipt notice or that ur labor has ben pending for more than a yr - whichevre is ur case - to show that u r eligible for 7 the yr extension
My friend got a diff query for 7 th yr extension. After the RFE reply was sent, the H1 got approved in 1 month.
It takes 3 months to get visa revalidated in US and it is already july. So, may be u can get ur 7 th yr visa revalidated - after u get it approved.
