I am applying for my 7th yr ext due next week.I have my I-140 approved.
I just joined a project which is for 2 month with a possibility of Extension. I have client letter for the same.
Will I only get a 2 month H1-B?
If I am doing it in regular processing, what happens if the result comes back after my project end date and they have given me only 2 months of Visa?
So for eg, my Project end date is Jan 31 2011 and I get a response on March 25th,that I got a 2 month visa from date of application, what happens to my status from Jan 25th to March 25th? Do I get out of Status.
If I find another project lets says on 1st Feb, can I reapply for another extension? At that time someone told me I cannot stay and have to get immediate stamping from India? Is this true
Please let me know what are my options?
