Folks,
My 6 Yr H1b expired on 03/31/01. I received my EAD on 04/10/01.
For those 9 days, I had applied for a 7th Year H1b during March\'01.
I am happy to share with you that petition is approved now.
But, what I am looking for is my I485 approval.
EB3, PD: 2/97, RD: 12/19/00, ND: 01/02/01, FP 04/01 waiting......

Hold On... My H1-B expires on Oct 31-2001.
I HAVE GOT MY SECOND EAD AND HAVE CHANGED MY JOB RECENTLY.

Have you talked to IIOs? Any RFEs? Talk to them as often as
possible. Even there you should be a lucky person.
I have seen, some IIOs take time and effort to communicate
these irony issues to a nice officers and get the work
done.
Good Luck. Though, I am waiting, I don\'t expect mine
to be approved at least for another 3-4 months.
