Hello,
I need some details regarding 7 th year H1 extension & stamping.
My 6 th year H1B is ending on 10/23/2003.
Now I am going to apply for 7 th extension on the basis of my LC
in Texas region pending for more than 1 year.
1.Say if apply next week for H1 extension, that is enough time to get approval?
2.after getting approval for Visa Stamping & for my wife H4 (will expire on 10/23)extension Can I send it to State department in St.Louise?

thanks.
manishraj.

1. H1 approval is now taking about 8 months. But, to continue working - u dont need to have the new H1 approved. U just need to get the recipt from the BCIS for the new H1.
Apply for H4 for ur spouse also, along with ur H1.
2. Yes u can sent it to St.Louis for stamping.

Thanks for the reply Badobo.

For H4 applying together with H1

I have to apply I-129 along with I-539 for this purpose.
If I am wrong please correct it.
thanks.
