Hello All,
I heard that first two times when company applies for H petition, it pays about $1600 and 3rd H petition onwards it pays about $300. I want to see this documented on some official website.
The reason is, my 8th year extension is due in Jan 2007. Comapny has already applied for 7th year extension. So there are totally two H petitions are already filed from the company and third is due in month of Jan 2007.
So how much fees that company needs to pay this time for H1 extention?
Now real question is, my comany has been bought by another company and EIN will change sometime in Dec 2007. So will that be considered as change in employer? and will the new company needs to pay $1600 as this is first time petition filing for the company which boutght old company?
