My I-140 and I-485 are pending at NSC. My company applied for 7th year extn in Dec 2004. It is also pending. The reason for all the above is because my cases are stuck in security review. I contacted senator, congressman..also my lawyer initiated inquiry, nothing helped so far.
Now, my question is, when does the 7th year extn. visa period start?. Is it from the date of H1b petition receipt date or approval date ?. If it is receipt date, do I need to file 8th year extn. now ?
