7th year extention and H1B transfer

My H1B is in process for 7th year extention , as LC filed by current employer has been pending for more than 365. I am thinking to join new employer. I am not certain how does this scenario of H1B transfer will work out for me?

1. Can I transfer my H1B in 7th year of extention ?
2. If my current employer do not withdraw my LC , then can I get 8th year of extention with the new employer based on LC filed by previous employer ?
3. After joining new employer, If LC through perm is approved with new employer, but due to retrogation, I cannot file I-485,and old LC is still in progress with my current employer then how does the extention for H1B works ?
4. Can multiple filings of LC for alien by diffferent companies be done ?

I would appereciate the responses to my queries.
