I joined company A in july 99 on an H-1B. Labour applied in Oct 99 approved in July 00. I-140 applied and approved Jan 2001. Had to change job prior to applying for I-485.
Since then I have changed jobs. I am on a new H-1B with the new company B, but it is too late to get GC approved.(I know big mistake, but I had no choice). 6 years of H-1B status expires July 2002.
Any chance for 7th year extension?
