I will be completing 6 years on my H1 in Jan 09. I was out of the country for total 2 months while on H1. My employer is currently working on my PERM and they will be filing it in May 08. What are my options to remain in status from Jan 09 to May 09 (365 days from filing of the PERM)? If the two months are applied to my H1 it will still be short of 2 months.
Please suggest.
