7th year extension approved from VSC

Hi Guys,
My 7th year H1 got approved on 29-June-01.
LCA was filed sometime in Dec-2000
and I-129 was filed at VSC on Jan-17-2001.

Yesterday, my lawyer received the approval notice.
Today I got the approval notice from my lawyer office.

Extension was valid for one year from May 2001 to May 2002.

I am little confused, may be you can help. From your posting, it doesn\'t seem like one year time period has lapsed since you filed Labor. Is it LCA(towards H1-B) or Labor(towards GC)? Do we need to file for LCA again i.e for extension also.

Please clarify. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Mine was LCA (towards H1b). I am not sure whether it
is required for 7th year extension. But my lawyer filed it.
