I applied for I-485 in March this year, I received my EAD also. Both me and mi wife will finish our 6 years in another 15 days. In the meanwhile my wife also started her processing, received I-140, decided to go for Consular Processing and currently awaiting I-824. Today the lawyer is telling us(after applying for I-824) that if my wife wants to go for CP, she can not use EAD as she will then be on \'Pending Adjustment of status\' status. Is it right?
Considering that she has already filed for I-824 showing her intentions to go for CP, is she qualified for 7th year H1-B extension?
