7th Year Employer change

Guys,

I am in 7th year of my extension till Sep 2007 and have my labor stuck in the Backlog processing. I wanted to know if one can change employer in 7th year and refile the labor with new employer !!!

OR I am stuck with my current employer until I get GC OR GOING BACK TO INDIA ?

Please let me know details !

Yes, you can change the employer in 7th year of extension provided your current labor pend for more than 365 days and your current company is not going to revoke the Labor so that same Labor can be used for the extension of your 8th year. It's good to file new Labor as soon as you joined the new employer so that after 365 days u can use the same for further extension.

is it possible that I switch to new employer and they file my labor. Since with PERM, labor is coming faster, does filing date need to be 365 days before the 8th year extension can be filed or after receiving the labor, it does not matter how old is the filing date ?
In simple terms, if I receive a labor that was filed on Jan 2007 and 8th year extension needs to be filed before Sep 2007 ?
