730 Approved- What's next?

Hi All,

We received the approval letter for my wife's 730 last Friday. Can my wife apply for her EAD and Travel document now? Is she going to get a new I-94 or a letter or the approval notice is enough to apply for the EAD and travel document. She is in U.S already. We applied on 02/04 for her I730.

I believe you will have to go to your local USCIS office with the approval notice and get your I-94.

For the EAD and travel document you can send them by mail along with the approval notice.

my wife was approved for i 730 5 years ago, she got approval letter,

she applied for work permit, and travel document, she got both

she mailed each application with copy of the approval letter,


about the i 94, she waited until she left the country for vacation,

at the departure she gave the airline counter the old i 94 which she had it
when she was on student F 1 visa status, and on the arrival she filled new i 94 and the INS officer stamped it with asylee stamp,


last year she got her green card
